Brockworth gets the big cheque!

The big cheque is here! 

Cllr Ben Evans and Cllr Paul Hodgkinson were really pleased to handover £3000 to Brockworth Link - Community Library & Youth Provision recently from the County Council's Grassroots Neighbourhood Fund to help boost youth health and wellbeing. 

The Fund was launched last autumn and gives back a total of £2 million in grant money to Gloucestershire to help grassroots projects at local level in Gloucestershire. It was a key manifesto commitment by the Liberal Democrats at last year's County Council elections.

Ben said: “Funding local initiatives like this is so valuable - in this case Brockworth will benefit from cash which helps this wonderful charity to thrive.”
