Health petition presented to No 10 Downing Street
Calling for our local hospitals to be protected against a backdrop of changes to services provided, the petition was handed into No 10 Downing Street by Cllr Paul Hodgkinson, Parliamentary Candidate for the North Cotswolds and Lib Dem MP for South Cotswolds Roz Savage. Also joining them was Moreton councillor Angus Jenkinson.
Paul said:
"We were finally able to hand in our petition to protect local NHS services to Number 10 Downing Street recently. This has been a long time coming, with so much time put in by so many selfless activists.
The thousands of signatures that have been collected demonstrate the deep support that our local health services have. We will continue to update you all of any news from the Government moving forward on this important issue.
A huge thank you to everyone who signed the petition and who see our local hospitals as real gems which are hugely valued by all of us."
