Petition launched for Brockworth crossing

A new campaign has been launched to secure the installation of safe crossings on Moorfield Road or Vicarage Lane in Brockworth.

Cllr Ben Evans said: "We are calling for Gloucestershire Country Council to install safe crossing points on Moorfield Road and/or Vicarage Lane, for pupils going to school locally.

"The rise in the number of scholl pupils has meant a rise in traffic. To encourage children and young people to walk, scoot and cycle to school these crossings are immediately necessary.

Paul Hodgkinson, Parliamentary Candidate for North Cotswolds, is supporting the petition and has urged local residents to sign and share with their friends and neighbours.
